Update

Planning application 15/05863 for 262-bed gated student accommodation was refused by Leeds City Council but the developers have appealed. The public inquiry to hear the appeal starts at Leeds Civic Hall on 11th October 2016.

The sports hall and swimming pool was demolished in December 2014 and the sports pitch was dug up in January 2015. LCC approved a Reserved Matters application for houses aimed at landlords rather than affordable family housing in March 2015.

Plans Panel Councillors reversed their previous decision and gave outline approval for houses and a supermarket to be built on sports facilities on 3rd April 2014.
